Does DartNode block ports?

By default, DartNode does not block any ports — you're free to use any port you need. However, we do monitor for abuse and maintain protections to ensure network health.

โš ๏ธ When Are Ports Blocked?

If your assigned IP address is listed on one or more of the blacklists we monitor, DartNode will automatically filter/block all outbound traffic on the following ports until the issue is resolved:

๐Ÿ”Œ 25 ๐Ÿ“ค SMTP (Email sending) ย  ๐Ÿ”Œ 137 ๐Ÿ“ก NetBIOS Name Service ๐Ÿ”Œ 138 ๐Ÿ“ก NetBIOS Datagram Service ๐Ÿ”Œ 139 ๐Ÿ“ก NetBIOS Session Service ๐Ÿ”Œ 445 ๐Ÿงท SMB over TCP ๐Ÿ”Œ 1688 ๐Ÿ” KMS Activation ๐Ÿ”Œ 17 ๐Ÿ” QOTD (Quote of the Day) ๐Ÿ”Œ 19 ๐Ÿ” Chargen (Character Generator) ๐Ÿ”Œ 1900 ๐Ÿ“บ SSDP (UPnP Discovery) ๐Ÿ”Œ 53413 ๐Ÿ“ฆ BitTorrent-related ๐Ÿ”Œ 11211 ๐Ÿ’พ Memcached

๐Ÿ”„ How Often Are Filters Updated?

Our filter list is updated every hour, automatically.

We cannot manually override these blocks unless a compelling reason is provided — this is to protect our network and customers from abuse or potential compromise.
