My Dedicated Server IPMI Is Not Responding

My Dedicated Server's IPMI Is Not Responding

  1. Go to your dedicated server's detail page > IPMI tab.
  2. If IPMI shows as not supported, your server model may not have IPMI. Open a support ticket with the NOC team.
  3. Try Reset IPMI Password to refresh the connection credentials.
  4. Click Close IPMI Session and then Launch On-Demand IPMI Session to start a fresh session.
  5. If IPMI is accessible but the server is unresponsive, use IPMI power controls:
    • Try Power Off (Soft) first for a graceful shutdown.
    • If unresponsive, use Power Off (Hard) followed by Power On.
    • Reboot (Cold) performs a full power cycle.
