My Emails Are Going to Spam or Being Rejected

My Emails Are Going to Spam or Being Rejected

  1. Check rDNS: Set up a PTR record for your server's IP that matches your mail server hostname. Go to Network > Reverse DNS in the dashboard.
  2. Check SPF: Ensure your domain has an SPF TXT record authorizing your server's IP.
  3. Check DKIM: Set up DKIM signing for outgoing email.
  4. Check DMARC: Publish a DMARC record for your domain.
  5. Check DNSBL: Your IP may be on a blocklist. Common ones to check:
    • zen.spamhaus.org
    • b.barracudacentral.org
    • bl.spamcop.net
  6. If your IP is on a blocklist, request delisting from the respective blocklist operator.
  7. Consider using an SMTP relay service for better deliverability.

DartNode-specific note: If your server's SMTP access is automatically blocked, it may be because your IP was detected on 2+ DNS blocklists. Contact support for SMTP unblocking assistance.
