How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
- Navigate to Settings from the user menu in the top-right corner.
- In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Change Method or follow the setup prompt.
- Choose your preferred method:
- Email — receive verification codes at your registered email address.
- SMS — receive codes via text message (requires a verified phone number).
- Authenticator App — use apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Click Continue.
For Authenticator App
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or manually enter the secret key.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app and click Verify & Enable.
For Email
- A code will be sent to your email. Enter it and click Verify & Enable.
For SMS
- Enter your phone number and click Send Code.
- Enter the 6-digit code you receive and click Verify & Enable.
After verification, you will see 8 recovery codes. Save these codes securely — each can only be used once.
Click Copy All or Download to save them, then click I've Saved These Codes.
Note: Admin accounts are required to have 2FA enabled and cannot skip this step.
